MSc CLEAN COAL TECHNOLOGIES
Provides cutting-edge knowledge of the coal-based power industry and related chemical fuels and/or renewable resources fields, focusing on technologies for efficient thermal and chemical conversion with reduced emission. Also fosters thinking about global sustainable development. Strong emphasis is placed on creating high-efficiency, ecofriendly
power systems.

MSc EMINE – European master in innovation in nuclear energy
Allows tomorrow’s nuclear engineers to take up the challenges that the nuclear energy industry faces in terms of safety, social acceptability and waste management. By offering outstanding technical training and addressing the economic, social and political issues of nuclear energy, MSc EMINE broadens the scope of traditional nuclear education.

MSc ENTECH – Energy technologies
Targets students wanting to create the energy technologies of the future. MSc ENTECH unites participants from different backgrounds. Its broad-based, interdisciplinary education
leads to a variety of key engineering specialisations. Together with classes dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship, it provides students with an excellent background for meeting tomorrow’s energy challenges.

MSc SELECT – Environomical pathways for sustainable energy systems
Attracts engineering students who are true sustainable energy enthusiasts and fosters thinking on global responsibility. MSc SELECT maps out the route from basic renewable energy sources to future energy systems. Minimal environmental impact throughout the whole conversion chain is always the target.

MSc SENSE – Smart electrical networks and systems
Develops skills in electrical power engineering, innovation processes and entrepreneurship in the emerging field of Smart Grids. MSc SENSE focuses on understanding, modelling and analyzing the principles of electric power generation, transmission, distribution and utilisation. Unique features
include innovation processes and how to develop new business ventures.

MSc Smart Cities – EIT KIC MSc in Energy Advanced energy supply systems
Educates students with broad backgrounds in electrical and mechanical engineering in the key energy issues of smart cities and related entrepreneurship. Participants learn how to design and implement modern energy supply systems, including advanced conversion technologies, while taking

full responsibility for the environmental consequences and economic outcome.

MSc RENE – Renewable energy
Enables engineering students to meet key challenges in renewable energy and speed the transition to a low-carbon economy. MSc RENE trains those who will design and implement future energy policies and introduce new services and products for energy providers, major manufacturers, business start-ups and public organizations worldwide.

 

International programmes completely taught in English

Applicants must provide proof of their English language proficiency, which is generally established through an internationally recognized test. The following tests and scores are accepted.

IELTS Academic Training test (www.ielts.org)

An overall band score of at least 6.5, with no section lower than 6, is required.

TOEFL Internet-based test, iBT (www.toefl.org)

A total score of at least 92 (with writing section 22) is required.

University of Cambridge / University of Oxford Certificates

Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): grades A- C are accepted.

Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): grades A- C are accepted.
